Think and comment on this....

JORDAN (five years), going to bed at eight one evening, asked, "If I go to bed at eight and get up at seven in the morning, how do I really know that the little hand of the clock has gone around only once? Do I have to stay up all night to watch it? If I look away even for a short time, maybe the small hand will go around twice."

  1. I think, it doesn't matter if you it the small hand revolved twice. As long as time is still there, i think there is no problem. Also, the best explanation is the simplest explanation.. meaning.. "wala", "hinde" diba? hehhe :)

  2. is jordan only five years old? wow, i think i learned about clocks when i was 7 (^_^)... anyway, i think one way to find out is to set the alarm somehwere between 8 and 7... that way, if the little hand gets pass the "alarm hand" it'll make some noise... if it disturbs you more than once in one night then you'll know that the little hand has gone around more than once... :D if you dont want to do that, why not set up a videocam in front of the clock to record its every "tick"... you don't have to stay up all night... just watch it when you get up... oh, make sure you're videocam's battery is full.. hehe
